About Me
I have a BS in Psychology with a certificate in Women’s Studies and a Masters in Social Work all completed at Portland State University. I practiced for 12 years in a local community mental health agency in a variety of programs and capacities. My experience includes working in emergency services and supervising a Child and Family Program with therapists working in 33 different schools. In 1996 I started a part time private practice in downtown Portland moving to full time in 2001.
I have over 23 years experience as an individual and couples therapist. My practice services older adolescents and adults of all ages.
I am a member of NASW and the Oregon chapter of AMHA. I have a progressive perspective and a keen interest in the effects of cultural influences on development and relationships.
